I have not studied the other threat mods. I just wanted a mod that fits my needs and matches my interface by still keeping my motto: small, simple, beautiful. The mod can handle backdrop gradients and has the border of the current Diablo 3 actionbuttons. Basically the border stuff is derived from rSetBackdrop.

Yooo it be carebear!

Ignore this post. I found an addon that does what I need.
Changing my UI a little bit. Nothing too drastic but it's gonna put on a few pounds!

Very nice. I assume that the light coming from the bottom of your frame is agro? If so, what are you using to do that?

Looks like oUF_Slim with the threat highlight texture from oUF_Nivea.

Loving oUF_Phanx, especially its border (my fav of the Nealish ones). Attempting to use it everywhere...

Also infatuated with font shadow alpha.

I'm actually really curious about the history of the texture. Did you make your own for Aftermathh?

These are the ones I know about:

Edit: Maybe zork's was first, and Neal chopped off the corners?

Your UI is so un-symmetrical. It ruins the entire thing.

I think he was referring to things such as how your bars are off-center. You have button 7 at center rather than the break between 6 and 7. It actually does detract a little bit.

The thing is that the action bar is in the center?

Judging by where your character is on the screen, it's not. Here, I put your screenshot into photoshop and turned on the grid so that you could see. I recommend getting an addon such as Align to aid you in game.

/edit: having things symmetrical is not a requirement for a "good UI". But elements need to look like they're off-center for a reason. When they look like they're supposed to be symmetrical, but are off by just a tad, that's when placement works against you.

I'm mostly happy with it for now, but I expect I'll be changing it all up again soon. It seems it's all I do lately, work on a UI, finish it, and immediately start from scratch again. >.<

I've noticed that for months since Game began posting this version of the UI with those textures, and s/he actually did make an alignment adjustment once a while ago. However, I don't think it's "ruined" at all.
