Are you shaking yet?

So with the prolonged realm downtime due to Blizzard fuxing the patch process (always baffles me this happens but then I'm sure it's FAR more complex than I can imagine, don't get me wrong I work in software development and do production patching just we have a plethora of staging environments that we patch first to make sure we get the production patch right the first time) has anyone started to get the shakes from withdrawal?

Around 6:00PM MST (5:00PM PST/8:00PM EST) there were a handful of LOCKED servers 'online' and each of their queues were > 10,000 people. I guess that shows that at least some people are just dying to get to their new and improved 3.1 toons.

I think those locked realms are the ones Blizzard is testing atm. I bet they will unlock when the rest of the realms come up.

Still amusing that there's (at last count) ~120,000 people waiting in the queue to get on these locked servers. Something tells me that that isn't blizzard testing the queue system

I think they have favorite servers and servers they just hate. The ones they hate blizz delays in re-enabling them.

Nah. I have joked that 'nothing is sure but death and taxes, and that you won't actually be able to play WoW on any given patch day because of extended maint, rolling restarts, auth server choking...'

Yeah, color me jaded. I call it realistic.

I'm back after a year long hiatus from wow and I got to tell you.. I did NOT miss patch day withdrawl.

I had something highly pertinant and intelligent to say here, but the first two times I tried to reply I got some kind of error. Now that I AM replying, I can't remember what I was going to say... So I'll just say MURGLMURGLMURGL!!!
