Could be partnered with Favorites, place a point and when the user is close to that point it presents a movable, closable, completable info window about the area or a task to do there and disappears when the player moves away from the area, completes it, or closes the window.

You think of something similar to the resurection window when you're close to your body?

Guess that might be nice. Perhaps it could be coupled with pathfinding, so you get a direction arrow within that window to point to the exact location (which can be set to appear or not appear in the prefs for that favorite).
