Lightweigh actionbars
Looking for a lightweight actionbar addon, I DO NOT want it to have a ingame configuration, but instead I want a luafile configuration, preferably it'll be flexible as it comes to number of buttons per bar, and all bars being indepent of eachother, and if possible, not required, support both horizontal and veritcal layouts

I don't think there is any action button/bar addon with all those features and lua-only configuration you just mentioned but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Just remember, "Lightweight" doesn't mean "better and faster code".

May I ask why you are against ingame configurations?

There is a cataclysm beta version of roth UI available, which I assume includes a working version of rActionBar and ButtonStyler.

You may be interested in McRun along with CogsBar McRun

I have not seen anything of it working in live 4.0.1 but there really should be no reason it won't.

Thanks for the tips.

Why I don't like ingame configurations is because they generally, not always, suck alot of system resources. And Lightweight is always low system resource or it wouldn't be lightweight now would it?

I've tried rActionXXXXX but didn't like it a whole lot, it's not very configurable (without going into the lua code which looks like a mindfield I'd stay away from if possible)

I will check all the tips out, and try the lot of them to find the one I like the most.

You'll see many make their configuration be a separate, load on demand addon, so that unless you open the config, it takes no resources.
