Foreign language users

I'm curious. Who here is running the UI on a foreign language version of WoW. Were there any issues? Did the spells get placed correctly?

Hi!

I'm playing on French version of WoW.

The Mazzifier doen't work perfectly, I'm currently having some problems and trying to solve them.

First I had to translate classes names in several files (Hunter=Chasseur, Warrior=Guerrier, etc.)

Before mazzifying :
1) Translation error in KingOfTheJungle: FIXED
2) Cartographer_profession error [EDIT: actually a Ace_addon error]

During mazzifying (causes Reload button not to appear, and /reloadui does'nt fix):
1) MazzleUI_utilities.lua:148: bad argument #1 to 'next' (table expected, got nil value)

I'm stuck here, still can't use MazzleUI :s

That's odd. Another french user posted that all he had to do was disable SmartBuff.

Anyway, disable any of these add-ons that give you translation issues and try mazzifying again.

Well, after disabling SmartBuff and SmartDebuff Mazzifying worked.

With my mage, I have some spells missing in the actionbars, they are in the context menu : - Armure de givre
- Armure de glace
(I guess it's "ice armor" and "frost armor" in english)
Is that normal?
No professions buttons appear in the context menu for my Mage, but my Priest (who has the same professions) has every profession button...

I had to translate classes names for class-specific layout because I only could use basic layouts (except for my Mage and my Paladin, which are 'Mage' and 'Paladin' in french too).

Playing at the spanish client there was not problem with the Mazzifier, all addons where placed and configured perfectly.

Only some specific addons like KTM or DamageMeters don't work very fine or simply don't run, but this is not problem of the MazzleUI

Thank you so much for this UI.

i'm running a german version of wow, no problems when running the mazzifier. the only issue is that the pet symbol when playing a hunter everytime shows that my pet is sad. also the durability percentage everytie shows 100%. Using classspecific layouts doesn't work, i only can choose between "Basic Layout" and "Big Button Basic Layout". have tested this on my priest, warlock, rogue, warrior

After readin this, i tried to edit some files too

Worked fine. I only had to replace the Strings Classes = "Warrior" with Classes = "Krieger" and so on, in Mazzifier_globals.lua in the mazzifer Directory....now i can Choose from the predefined Templates like JoyWorrior.

If this helps a lil in any Way, here are the correct Translations for the German Client:

Classes = "Warrior" => "Krieger"
Classes = "Warlock" =>"Hexenmeister"
Classes = "Mage" =>"Magier"
Classes = "Paladin" => "Paladin"
Classes = "Shaman" => " Shamane"
Classes = "Priest" => "Priester"
Classes = "Druid" => "Druide"
Classes = "Hunter" => "Jäger"
Classes = "Rogue" => "Schurke"

As a lil Hint for the german readers: Öffet einfach die Datei .../Interface/Addons/Mazzifier/Mazzifier_globals.lua und ersetzt die oben genannten Stellen mit ihren Übersetzungen....viel Spaß mit den wirklich sehr gelungenen Layout die Mazzlefizz da gebaut hat.

Tried it for my Warlock, Warrior and Priest meanwhile. All (non-BC) Spells seem to be placed correctly.

Edit:

Missing: Howl of Terror for my Warlock (but there´s no empty Button...is it missing completely in the Template? )

FYI classes in French are :
Hunt :: "Chasseur"
Warrior :: "Guerrier"
Druid :: "Druide"
Priest :: "Pr\195\170tre" (Prêtre)
Warlock :: "D\195\169moniste" (Démoniste)
Rogue :: "Voleur"
Mage :: "Mage"
Shaman :: "Shaman"
Paladin :: "Paladin"

I had to modify classes names in both Mazzifier_Configs.lua and Mazzifier_Globals.lua files to make Mazzify possible.

Another detail, there is no "Steady shot" button for my Hunter in the action bar, and the Mount binding does'nt seem to work on french keyboards (AZERTY, not QWERTY).

For the mage, it's on the second page of the context menu.

Yes, it's normal. The Mazzifier will check how many of the spells you have in a bar before setting it's size. If the translation wasn't right, it probably thought you didn't have the spell and didn't allocate a button for it.

A little Up for this thread, since I can't play any other class except for my mage...
In fact, the UI doesn't seem to work with another class, on the french version of wow.
If someone has a solution, please let me know

Files for the French users are in this archive. Note that you still have to disable SmartBuff and SmartDebuff in order to obtain a Mazzification.

I'm currently traducing all the /mazzify text (about 90%) so be patient for a complete translation

Wow! good work!

i wonder if we can get other translators onto the project? What did you have to do in order to fix it?

Genial, merci beaucoup (no need to translate, I guess ^^).
At last I will be able to play with my other non-mage character .

He has two files in there, one seems to change the names of the classes for the button layouts to french names. The other one has settings for most of the add-ons. I'm not exactly sure what he translated in that one. It's a pretty large file and I didn't diff the two.

Thanks for the workaround. I'm sure the french users really appreciate it.
