i think i may have mis lead you, how do i put the file in the nui folder, what do i use to open or view this one, most addons let u extract and put them in the folder but this one is a rar file. The name is nui art cataclysm

just extract it the same as you would a zip file and place it in your interface/add ons folder. You do NOT put it in the nui folder, it gets treated like all other add ons enabling it at character select screen will disable the default dashboard. I use Winrar for extracting files

That may explain the problem you're having. .rar files are another type of compressed format like .zip If you have Windows XP or higher, it has built in support for .zip files, but not for .rar files. I'm not sure about other OS's though.

Take a look at this program, called 7Zip. It is a freeware decompression/compression program for handling damn near any possible type.

I love nUI it works fantastic,never thought it would be so easy to set it up and just play instant hehe

I am never going to change to another UI,and i have less addons now then before!

Just a tip if you like, you can get rid of these 3 addons just by using Skada, it does both Threat and DPS/Damage and also has a built in info panel for nUI.

Just my 2 Cents other then that looks great

I downloaded Skada going to test it out,saves also again a lot of memory usage

And ty well i wanna thank the man who made it that is Spiel of course,this is how UI's should be and not with difficult things to set it up,i love it and i will support nUI more and more that's for sure

I just got turned onto WoW a couple of months ago & I just found out about nUI last Friday afternoon. This UI is freaken' awesome & I think I am going to spread the creator some Holiday Cheer!

Anywhoo, here is my really basic setup;

I do have on question. As you can see, Quest Helper stuck itself way at the top of the screen. How do I get that text to move down/some other place?

Old which was a hodge-podge of add ons & then nUI.

If I'm not mistaken, with QH when you hover over the quest track log you will eventually see a little "nub" over the top of the list. Then you click on that and probably with alt or ctrl held down you can drag it wherever you want. But it's been way to long for me to remember exactly. I use Carbonite now and like it much better. But anyway, hope that helps.

New layout ive been playing around with have to thank petrah for the skin and hope she continues to make some more colors

. The broker display is bazooka which I had never tried untill lately but I highly recommend it to anyone titan or fubar user as its takes the best from both and improves them.

neural, what mod(setting?) is it that shows how many kills to level, in our HUD?

That would be Broker_XpRate http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info10999-Broker_XPRate.html
But you will need a data broker to display it like Bazooka , Titan Panel, or if you wanna use Fubar you would also need the Fubar2Broker add on to see regular broker items

Yep, XpRate is a nifty little addon. Also, it has been deadly (pun intended) accurate
