chat spam?

hi, new to carbonite.
ever since i installed this i get constant chat channel spams how do i turn this off?
Its in some channel carbonite has made and seems to make new ones every time i go to a new zone.

Carbonite global and zone channels are not hooked to any UI and are not visible. You probably have some addon showing the Carbonite messages.

Disable all other addons and test. Then enable a few until the culprit is found.

Well i use a add on that when my name is seen in a message it makes that message go across the full screen simular to /rw message. so i never miss some one saying some thing to me.

What do this global/zone channels carbonite makes actually do? i disabled them last night. What iam i missing out on?

Global tells you when new versions are released.
Zone shows other Carbonite players in your zone and you get and send punk info to and from them.

I have a question related to the normal chat channels. How to i turn off:
CARBONITE "Quest Complete: XY"
messages?

I don't get the Carbonite options anyway. On "Social & Punk"-Tab there is an option "Show chat warning", it's obvious what it does, cause it implicates the word "chat".

But then there is the "Quest"-Tab and now it's starting to confuse the **** out of me.
"Share quest status with party and show theirs"
"Broadcast quest change messages to party"

And finally there is the "Privcy & Com"-Tab which has an option:
"Share quest data"

May anyone explain to me what is shared and broadcasted to whom, why and whatever? What is broadcasted to the normal chat? What it broadcasted to the Carbonite-custom channels? What it exchanged between Carbonite-users? What is exchanged between Carbonite and Non-Carbonite users?
