CTMod in Addons Folder but not in game...

I have installed the CTMod files from the primary site with the following link:
http://ctmirror.wowinterface.com/CTMod 2 - Update 12.zip

I placed the unzipped folders into the following pathway:

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CTmod

But i do not seem to be getting anything in game. The Addons button does not appear nor does the CTMod botton showup on the minimap in game.....any suggestions?

make sure all the mods aren't in one folder with the rest, they should all be viewable when looking in the addons folder.

To clarify what Thargos said, make sure your file structure is:

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CT_barmod
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CT_bottombar
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CT_buffmod
etc...

There should be no:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CTmod

Yes, I have tried putting the files into the AddOn all by themselves. It does not work. Any other reasons CTmod is not loading? I mean, i can't even see the AddOn button in the char selection screen.

Could it have anything to do with the version? I am not getting BC but have all the latest patches to the core game.

I'm open to ideas. I really want to make this work. Thanks again.

As the others have said it appears you have everything installed wrong

Download the latest CT_Mod (Update 12)

Open the Zip file. You should see the following folders:
CT_BarMod
CT_BottomBar
CT_BuffMod
CT_Core
CT_ExpenseHistory
CT_MailMod
CT_MapMod
CT_PartyBuffs
CT_RABossMods
CT_RaidAssist
CT_Timer
CT_UnitFrames
CT_Viewport

Navigate to your WoW install Directory. The Default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\ ... change where needed.

If there is no Interface Folder Create one. Open that up. Create an AddOn Folder there. Open that. You should now be in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons

Drag the folders from the Zip file to the addons directory. All of them. You should now see those individual addon folders and only those folders ... no files...

Now run WoW. There should be an addon button on the character select screen.

Hopefully this helps clarify this even more for you.

If this does not help then I'm not sure what to tell you.

EDIT ... This has nothing to do with whether or not you have BC. I don't have it yet and they work fine for me.

Ah that could be it, when I DL from the link I posted above, I get a whole bunch of small files, no folders. Can someone tell me where the folders that Sepioth is talking about are?

That's incredibly odd. When you unzipped, they should have been in the folders. What file extraction program are you using and what option did you choose?

(The link you provided 404's for me. Not found/invalid)

Hmm, well Im sure the link Im using is OK, everywhere I go, I get the same TON of lau and other files.

You might be onto to something with the extraction program. Its winzip, but its an evaluation version. I'll try something else and let you all know how it goes.

Thats weird .. although your link is broken if you add the "2 - Update 12.zip" part thats not in the link it downloads just fine ... folders and all.

As Cairenn said .. what are you using to unzip this zip file??

A correct link for the above mis-link

CT_Mod Update 12

Congrats ... what did you use instead??

I suggest 7 Zip It's a free zipper program that has no registration or evaluation .. always free. It supports many zipped formats as well. Pretty good little program.

Well after getting rid of WinZip, I simply tried extracting again, I guess XP has something.

Thanks again all.

Yes XP has built in Zip support ... don't believe it supports RAR though and you might come across a addon here using that instead of ZIP format ... so keep 7 Zip in mind
