Rearranging the character list

My character list is currently in an order that bugs me, (i want the bank and the warrior at the bottom) is there anyway to rearrange my char list?

That's not possible.

The character list is held on the server, in the order you see, and therefore there's nothing (short of deleting or transferring characters) that you can do to alter the order of it.

And as far as i remember there was some blue post about this matter (which i cant find atm) and sometime after wotlk launch they might implement something to be able to drag and drop and change the order of your chars.

I asked about this a few years back (right after my realm server changed hardware and the order got really messed up), they said they would implement that option on the account settings page, but I havent seen any of it (yet)

This is one of the things I don't get why they weren't there in the beginning.

it would be pretty "easy" todo, just make it read a text file inside the wtf/realmname folder where the player just write the charnames.
