WotLK digital Download

Hi,

Although wotlk is not yet available to be "purchased" online, you may still download it if your log in to you account at www.worldofwarcraft.com and go into "account management" scroll to the bottom where it mentions your burning crusade status.

There is a clickable link there "Download Burning Crusade"




1: Download that utility, run it, from the drop down menu it has, it should be defaulted at "Wrath Of The Lich King"... if not, select it and begin the process.



You may not play wow while doing this. it must be closed...

It takes a while, but at 2 gigs... it's going pretty dang fast!

2: Have a trusted friend or a family member that has access to a store that has it in stock, buy it for you and read off the code to you.

This is what I had to do... why? I live in a small town where there is one walmart, that got stocked with 100 copies of WotLK and there were 362 people waiting at midnight... needless to say, there was 262 pissed of people... WalMart is at the mercy of their distributors and basically have no clue as to when they are getting their next shipment...

Which is why I had to take the route explained above.

Ooh so basically I can go ahead and download this tonight when I'm asleep, and then when I actually have the expansion, I won't have to install it any more?
