New to the game; Warlock; help with Mods.

Alright. Soo, I haven't played this game in a little over two years... And when I did play it, I only played it for a couple months. I had an itch to get back into the game, and I want to start up an Undead Warlock. It's the same type of character I left off from last time, and I enjoyed playing it.

My question is, could I get some suggestions for AddOns? Not just for a Warlock, mind, though that would be cool. Just AddOns in general, too. I've got Adv-Auctioneer and Gatherer right now, because those were the only two I used in the past and they were helpful to me. If I could get some ideas on some main types of AddOns, that'd be great. I don't want to overload myself with too many, though. Just a few simple ones that'll make things easier to deal with.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

The only class addon I use is ClassTimer for DoT's; but it's also for all classes and that's nice. I use Quartz for my casting bar, the latency option really helps you with putting out more DPS. For my bags I use Combuctor. And for questing I use Lightheaded along with TomTom.

Those are my "essentials". Hope that helps.

this is what I could think of so far

Don't try to install all at once, some might be in conflict of others
or it could make the whole screen messy since there are so many

Just choose one and see if you like it , and if you like it, then keep it.

Also, you should also check the Pick of the Week column ( Seerah does a great job of recommending )

Thanks guys!

How do you check out Top Rated, Top Downloaded, and Top Favorites?

I played the game for a bit without any of them to get used to it and see how that played, and now I'm adding more and more, trying different ones out to see what I like, making things a bit more user friendly.

It's out of date but I still use Necrosis... one thing I want to update if it's still languishing out there.
Might not be my first project, but maybe my second.

Playing a Paladin more lately so that might take precedent - looking to do something for Seals, Judgments, Hands, Blessings, Auras etc.
Pallies can have a lot to juggle now/wotlk. I'm looking forward to AddOn Studio 2.0

I love some of the new changes coming [posted in news] - hearing at least macros and keybindings are going server side gets me more into it, too.

For grouping with my warlock, I really like LyLock

It has useful features for when in a raid, but nice for 5 person parties too.

Carbonite is the only addon that I absolutely cannot live without. It helps with Quests, and soooooo many other things that I couldn't list em all lol.

The one thing my lock can't live without is Necrosis (and yes it is current--look for the one that is called Necrosis Ldc on curse), otherwise my basics are auctioneer (not the suite..ack!), titan panel, gatherer, atlasloot, lightheaded. Also have a few bs mods but those are pretty much the ones I don't play without lol.
