add on button disappeared

hey,

when the new patch came out my addon button at the char select screen dissapeared as a result i dont have atlas loot or ktm anymore. i have tried to do the wow repair, and tried to delete the interface folder and logged into the game and then put the addons into there and that didnt work.

i have downloaded the add-ons repeatly after making sure there was nothing on my harddrive. i just did this again and put then into the interface folder and logged onto wow and nothing happened.

the path i followed for the directory was

installed to desktop
unzipped to desktop
copied from desktop
pasted into addons folder that was in interface
logged onto wow and the addon button is still not there

besides being a pain in the butt cause of all the time i have to spend on it, it is really annoying when trying to do heroic instances and raids when u dont have ktm.

Would you post the complete install path for one of your addons, please?

opened the internet
went to curse.com
clicked on atlasloot
clicked download by choosing mirror automatically
clicked save to desktop
it appeared on my desktop
hit extract all
this is the place where it is being extracted to
C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Desktop\KLHThreatMeter21.12
right clicked on the folder that is unzipped and went to copy
opened my computer - C: -program files- world of warcraft- interface- addons
and then right clicked in that folder once it opened and pasted the addon
opened up wow and there is no addon folder at my char select screen
hopefully this is what u meant by install path

That's the problem. You have folder-in-folder syndrome. You're creating a new folder (with the same name as the zip file) that the addon is inside of. Check out the FAQ on this site or the "Having Trouble Installing Addons?" sticky in this very forum for guides, pictures, and video walk-throughs on how to install your addons correctly.
