carbonite addon

hey
i have a problem whit installing the carbonite addon
i install it under interface/addon in the worldoffwarcraft file
when i logg in to the game it is not in the list off addon but the files are in under interface /addon can some on help me here need the addon soo much

Odds are you made a folder within your AddOns folder containing the carbonite files.

Here is a FAQ for the installation process. Follow the steps laid out, and you should be good to go!

FAQ is it a new way to install it now before y just have to unpack the ZIP file and install it under interface/addon file and wupti it works

No, what's shown in the FAQ is not a new way to install Addons. But usually when people have this problem, it's that they unzipped into a new folder inside Interface\AddOns. Which you're not supposed to do.

cant get that addon to work not good

I ran into an issue trying to install carbonite the other day and what happened for me was after the unzip this was the directory structure was something like this

AddOns
-->Cabonite(version number)
---->Carbonite
-------Localization.lua
-------Gfx
-------Snd
-------Bindings.xml
-------Carbonite.lua
-------Carbonite.toc
-------Carbonite.xml
---->CarboniteTransfer
---->CarboniteItems
---->CarboniteNodes
----CarboniteReadMe.txt
----CarboniteLicenseAgreement.txt

what it needs to be is

AddOns
--->Carbonite
------Localization.lua
------Gfx
------Snd
------Bindings.xml
------Carbonite.lua
------Carbonite.toc
------Carbonite.xml
--->CarboniteTransfer
--->CarboniteItems
--->CarboniteNodes
---CarboniteReadMe.txt
---CarboniteLicenseAgreement.txt

basically open the folder created by the unzip process and move its contence up one level (assuming that that folder does NOT in fact have a .toc file in it)
