Ok.. I hate to be the bearer of bad news /cringe. But it seems versions 4.19 and 4.20 reintroduce the original scaling problem with the range overlapping cd icons. version 4.18 only covers the time remaining as stated before. If you look at the two screen shots you can see the gap between my aura bars and the hud on 4.18 but upon loading 4.20 the hud moves up about an inch. Dont know if any of that helps im sure this scaling things got to be driving you nuts by now

I'll revisit the scaling thing tonight. ~sigh~

Just to shotgun all of the comment... I don't think it's tied to a particular hard controller as screen dimension are screen dimensions... I'm sure it boils down to some stupid programmer trick. I'll get it sorted out.

As for the cooldown alerts... yes, they are supposed to overlap the icons by design... it's assumed your eye is at or close to that point, so the alert should be popping up pretty much right in your face, which is the goal so it isn't overlooked.

This may be working as intended if so fine I was just curious more than anything else

Exactly!! That's what I was going to write in my reply after I corrected him (toss his sig in his face).. but thought better of it (which is so not like me when I haven't had sleep lol).

I edited my second link of Epic posts in my sig. Somehow the other thread that use to be there got deleted... so it saved me from my sig being too long lol.

Question

I tried my best to find the answer myself but came up empty.

Is there a way to adjust the size of the buttons on the actions bars?
I'm a clicker(i know, i suck) but the small buttons make it really hard on me in combat.

Love all your work btw.

Changeing button size and layout of UI is a feature which will be upcoming in a later version.

The range issue is actually all over this page the author is working on it if you go back to version 4.18 it may be better I know it works for mine

Exclamation New optional nUI Plugin -- Grid Integration

I just wanted to let everyone know that Brillynt has created a new optional plugin for Grid which integrates it into nUI's information panel. You can find it at http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9108-nUI.html#optional

Thank you Brillynt!

At present the only way to do that would be to edit the file [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Bars > nUI_ButtonBar.lua ] and manually change the size of the buttons in the default configuration settings at the top of the file. However, two things, when you do that the bars will no longer fit in the space available and will overlap, also whenever you update your copy of nUI, your change will be undone and you'll have to re-edit the file.

Exclamation nUI has made Curse's "Most Popular" page

I just wanted to take a second to toot my own horn as well as to thank all of nUI's supporters for standing behind this project. nUI has the distinction of being the only UI replacement -- single source or mod pack -- to have made the front page of Curse.com's most popular mods page...

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/Popul...SectionID=3816

My thanks for everyone for their support!

Now if only we can make it into the top 5 (a guy can dream can't he?)

Well, with a few more improvements, i think it can easly make it, so GZ.

I know u're currently working on customising the UI, so i'm leaving a few sugestions. The Unit frames should be more costumisable. Removing the portrait, adding text to the bars, either the percentage or the total values, as well the size.

As to the action bars, costumising the size of the bars/buttons as well as the properties. I'd like to change the bars to stance or to pet as i like them.

While you're working on that, i'd like to ask if there is a way to deactivate the action bars for now, to allow me to use another addon. Also, if possible, to do the same for the Unit frames. Thx.

This can already be done by editing the skin files, but it will get easier as a GUI layout tool is already in the to-do list.

This will *never* happen as it is contrary to everything nUI is about... if you want to use a collection of mods to get a certain look, then use a collection of mods. If you want to use one mod, use nUI. I do not ever intend to support replacing nUI components with third party components.

You are reacting like a real programmer here. A lot of people are not familiar with lua scripting and might even panic is they manage to open a file on your instructions and suddenly see their screen filled with all this abracadabra codes.

nUI is a super addon, but I always wondered why there are this little options to customize. Flexibility towards user preferences is not its strongest point. You might want to consider this for futures updates.

I understand that, and i'm not asking for u to enable this in a future release. Just asking if there's a way to do this, by editing files or something like that, while the GUI layout tool isn't done.

Maybe it is an options to move the actions bars out of the screen. It's the easiest way I can think of right now.

Actually, with the skins and the config GUI, the color changer, and the integrations, it really is highly customizable, now if only I could learn to code and make that quest log integration we'd be in business :P.

Just notice you posted about the bars, I gotta say! RTFM!, you use /nui movers and you can move all the bars.

Agreed, the GUI makes the available options very accessible for users and the plugins and skins are a very good way to customize stuff. But considering nUI is taking over a great deal of my old addons there are very little options compared to the alternatives.

On the other hand, too much options are not good as well and could overwhelm users. It's a delicate balance I guess

Yes, it's simple to solve the action bar issue, though the stance bar can't be moved with the movers option. The Unit frames isn't that simple though.

Anyway, i think that globaly, this is an excelent MOD, and with some more costumization options, it will become a must have for every WOW player.

I imagine it must be awsome to play with this addon in a big screen, but as i have a 17" TFT, somethings do get a little too small to see, that's why i asked how to remove those components, while u're working on the GUI tool.
