Multiple error breaks carbonite maybe due to AceAddon3.0

First I notice right after the new patch is that carbonite no longer displays the quest (the little circle with the x) on the map, either individually tracked or have the auto track enabled. I have removed carbonite and installed it via curse client multiple times. Currently, errors display with only Carbonite and Addon Control Panel running. All other addons have been turned off and seems to be a problem with the "AceAddon-3.0" I'm assuming a library. As of right now, carbonite has become unusable for me. So unless someone can help figure out the AceAddon3.0 problem, sadly

, I will have to keep it disabled. I have encounter this same problem in 5.1.3, 5.1.4, and 5.1.5.

It appears that, at some point, you installed the Carbonite BETA addon. That is the only Carbonite that uses the Ace3 libraries. The Carbonite BETA version is also the only Carbonite that uses that many folders. 5.1.5 uses only four (4) folders: Carbonite, CarboniteItems, CarboniteNodes, CarboniteTransfer.

COMPLETELY EXIT WoW BACK TO YOUR DESKTOP BEFORE TRYING TO DO THIS!

The only way you're going to fix this is to do a complete reinstall of Carbonites live version (currently version 5.1.5), or upgrade to the Carbonite BETA 5.2.1 Alpha 6 version. Whichever you decide to do, first go to your addons folder (Path to your WoW folder\Interface\AddOns\) and manually delete all of the Carbonite folders. Then go to your "Path to your WoW folder\WTF\Account\ACCOUNT NAME\SavedVariables\" folder and delete any files that have Carbonite in their name. There are also some Carbonite files in your "Path to your WoW folder\WTF\Account\ACCOUNT NAME\ServerName\CharacterName\SavedVariables\" folders for each of your characters. Normally those would not need to be deleted, but since it looks like you really have a problem, you might as well delete those too.

Either install it with the Curse Client (if you use it), or download a fresh version of Carbonite (links above), unzip it to your "AddOns" folder, and you should be good to go.

Awesome thanks. I will try this and report back. I did not realize that at some point the BETA version was installed unless curse did not know to remove those folders when it installed the BETA version. I have always installed carbonite from Curse except for when Rythal was updating it when Carbonite team did not update it for 5.0.2 WoW

I'm not surprised... auto updaters probably are not handling the difference between alpha and regular properly since they use two completely different file layouts.
