Need help with lua beware im a noob at it

So I'm trying to make an add on that uses script only like /help or /questhelper level etc. I want to know how would i make a slash command and have it register and how would i go about programing around that command i want it to be /calc (function) string1 string2 I'm basically making a calculator.
