Invisible nUI?

Hello,

i like that nUI Interface much in groups or raids but in roleplay i like to zoom in close to the toon.
In this case i'd like to ask if it is possible to customize the ancor point for the camera or else, push a button to make the nUI Frames except chat invisible...like it is possible in LUI

Hopefully you can understand my bad description as my english is not the best.
Maybe the is somone out who could translate from german to english.

Alt-Z would hide the UI, but that would also hide the chat frame. There's no mechanism at present to hide everything except the chat frame.

An interesting idea though. I'm not sure how I would do it, but I'll keep it in the back of my mind.

You could try out this here http://www.wowinterface.com/download...ngUIHider.html it allows you to hide certain parts of the UI by hot key or based on certain events like entering combat. Enjoy

Sorry that it took me so long to answer. I tried that addon, it's a start but it's not really how i want to have it. Meanwhile i tried some other UIs, build some myself but i was never satisfied.

Has anyone an Idea how the Anchor Point of the Camera could be moved? Or any other Idea to realize my idea?

Else would it be possible to split the bottom part of nui in three parts? Left Chatframe, Middler Frame with Player, Group, Raid and Map Windows and reight frame with Stats?

You can make nUI look any way you like if you're willing to edit the layout files. Those are just the data files that are used to tell nUI what elements to display and where.

However, nUI5 is pretty much at end of life and that's a lot of work for an addon that will go away when Cataclysm goes live. Better to be patient. nUI6 will provide a GUI you can use to create a fully custom UI.

Being a Scotsman myself, I "love" that quote. As such, I am accustomed to having my way... either through abject stubbornness or liberal application of my Claymore. Either way, I win.
