Panels without kgPanels?

Is there any way to save the panels created using kgPanels (position, color, borders etc) then uninstall kgPanels?

I've used other Uis that had panels behind the actionbar and chat window and other areas but the UI didn't require kgPanels.

No. kgPanels is the addon with the code that makes those panels. No code, no panels.

If you don't want to use kgPanels (or LitePanels, DiscordArt, whatever) then you'll need to write your own code to make the panels.
