Where is the CD icons?

Hi

I am using 5.07.05 Development. I don't get any Cold Down icons anymore after I have cast a Chaos Bolt for example. Is this a feature or bug?

If I can get them back I wonder how I can mve them? After the feature/bug that moved the avatar down on the screen I need to move everything down so I can have TellMeWhen just under my avatar followed by the castbar, my target debuff, my Cold dows and last the range indicator.

Did you accidentally turn the HUD off? There's a red button at the top of the screen that normally says "Player/Target" -- if it doesn't, you'll want to click it until it does.

Also, if you use the '/nui maxauras 0' command, that turns off *all* aura displays, which would include the cooldown bar.

As for the location of the HUD, try the command '/nui hud vofs 150' and see if that fixes it for you.

Thank you for the information, but it didn't helped me. I have tried switching HUD, set maxauros to 0 and then to 20. I used the command '/nui hud vofs 150', but nothing helped. After this I reinstalled nUI but my line with "player spells on colddown" will not display...with one exception, Death Coil do appear. But I can see the colddown countdown on the spells in the action bars. I have even tried to disable all add-ons except nUI, but it didn't helped either.
I reinstalled nUI_5.07.03_Development, but that version had the same problem. One thing that was better was that my character would appear higher up on the screen. Is this a difference between the 03 and 05 and what should I change to to achive the same effect with 07.05?

Hmm, maybe time for a screenshot to show us what you mean. It might be that they are there but partially hidden from view.

Now I have attached the screenshot. As you can see on the picture only Death Coil is shown in the filed for "player spells on cooldown", but in the action bar you can see that Chaos Bolt and Shadow Flame is on cooldown as well. Why are they not shown together with Death Coil?

Ah, its the old cooldown/debuff timer mix up scenario.

Some of those numbers in the action bars are actually debuff timers that work similar to count downs but aren't cool downs. And if you look above the cooldown bar you will see another bar of buttons .. this is the debuff timer buttons.

Also I am wondering whether you have MAXAURAs set to something other than 20 to 40 as it seems from that screen that they are set to 1.

This is a clean installation of nUI so I haven't mixed with any numbers.

I am not sure if I understand you. I have just thrown Death Coil, Chaos Bolt and Shadowflame. All these three spells have a cooldown. According to me that means that I should see Death Coil, Chaos Bolt and Shadowflame cooldowns icons, but only Death Coil appears. Why? This would be the case before I updated nUI after the patch 4.0.1.

When you did the clean install, did you delete the nUI.lua file in your WTF folder? If not, then the clean install did nothing to reset your configuration settings for nUI.

That said, have you used the '/nui hud cdmin {n}' command at any time? It may be that your minimum cooldown setting is greater than the cooldown period for the spells in question. You might want to consider exiting WoW and going to your [ World of Warcraft ] folder then renaming [WTF] to [WTF.saved] then logging back in.

I play an affliction lock and haven't seen any cooldown issues on him... which is not to say there aren't any.

I have now renamed the WTF folder, but it didn't helped. I tried all my spells which have cooldowns and the cooldown icon appear for all spells except Chaos Bolt, Conflagrate, Shadowflame and Shadowfury.

The nUI cooldown worked before I updated nUI because of the 4.0.1 patch and I haven't changed any nUI settings before all this started.

It is very unfortune that it would be just these spells which are vital for a PvP destruction warlock

I think so, but before the patch I used TellMeWhen to know when I could cast a spell, so maybe the problem have been around for a while. I know that it worked some month ago before I used TellMeWhen.

If you would, enable enhanced tooltips in the WoW Interface menu, then mouse over each of the three spells in question and tell me how long the tooltip says each of their cooldowns is supposed to be.

Shadowfury = 20 s
Shadowflame = 25 s
Chaos Bold = 12 s
Conflagrate = 8 s

Hmm, I can confirm shadowflame at least isn't working ..

I tried my demon locks cooldown spells and all worked except for shadowflame, soulstone resurrection, summon doomguard. Assumed infernal summons may be similarly affected.

Tested:
Hand of Gul'dan - 12 secs
Demon Leap - 45 secs
Metamorphosis - 3 mins
Soulshatter - 2 mins
Every Man for Himself - 3 mins
Shadowflame - 25 secs
Immolation Aura - 30 secs
Shadow Ward - 30 secs
Howl of Terror - 40 secs
Soulstone Resurrection - 30 mins
Summon Doomguard - 10 mins
Summon Infernal - 10 mins ( untested though as on same cooldown as Doomguard )
Soulburn - 45 secs
Soul Harvest - 30 secs

I read in your latest release that you do not plan to make any more releases to nUI 5. Does that mean the nUI team will not fix this CD bug for several weeks/months? The CD are very important for a successfull WoW play, so please fix it as soon as possible.

I also hope you plan to include the pet CD in nUi 6.
