Development of Carbonite stopped?

Hello,
I am a long term user of Carbontite and have no severe problem currently.
And I very much appreciate the work of the last year.
Since I was not able to find out about the development status of Carbonite, my question:
Is development currently stopped?
The last change in the development branch in Github was on Sep 15.
So do the Carb users have to look for alternatives?
Is any help possible?
