Addon Profiles

I think I goofed.

I've been playing World of UIcraft long before I understood how lua worked. However, now, after bringing back some of my old UI elements, I've realized that to change certain settings I would just open up the lua for any given addon and hard code my changes in. This makes it incredibly difficult to update addons.

Now that I'm back to playing, I've needed to update my addons. Now, I'd like to make changes to the addons using "profile" addons such as "SkaarjUI" in order to make certain changes without having to directly edit each addon's lua. My question is how you would set those profile setting things (similar to how ElvUI handles changes) where you click those boxes (ex. healer mode, tank mode, dps mode) and have the UI change accordingly. This would also make me feel more comfortable editing a UI for fun but still having an easy way to revert to an old iteration if I needed to.

Thanks!
