Rare Elites on Map

Question is, whenever I find a rare, the location of the rare on my map disappears, is there an option so you can leave the locations without it clearing?
Eg. Like I know where Scritch is located in Kun-Lai, but it no longer shows where he is on Carbonite map.

If your using NPCScan for that, it's because you need to clear your cache everytime you start WoW. Because of how it works, It can only detect each rare elite once unless the cache is cleared.
