Ping to Map

I know theres a few addons out there that announce who pings on maps i was wondering if you could consider doing this with the minimap. I know like ive been told Sexymap does it and i use to have an addon a long time ago that told me also but i lost that and forget what it is.

I can look into it... if anyone wants to suggest a simple mod that does it so I can look at how it is done, it would help a lot.
