Hello everyone,

This is my first month playing World of Warcraft. An excellent game... to bad it took me 3 years to get around to trying it.


I find it very hard to read the blue text over people's heads in-game, showing their name and guild, until they are very close. Does anyone know of an Add-on that lets you change the color of that text? I'm 45 and my eyes ain't what they used to be. Thank-You in advance.

as to name plates, i use ALOFT http://www.wowace.com/wiki/Aloft

click the beta link to download, it'll take a bit of playing with to learn and to find what you want, but in my opinion you cant beat it.

unfortunately, i don't think Aloft will help much because nameplates aren't displayed until the player/npc gets relatively close to you and i don't believe there is any way to modify that distance.

You are correct sir.... It's the ones in the distance that are the problem, which Aloft is not having an effect on. If Blizzard would just allow changing text color to white that would solve it for me... thanks again for helping guys
