Looking for Group addon, Call to Arms

It's now an outdated mob, but i've been able to use it nontheless until the recent patch. Now it breaks all my other addons if i enable it.

Clue is, i grew to really love this addon. It sorts the LFG and LFM requests perfectly, and is a great advantage when creating groups and pick up raids.

My question is: Can someone feed my addiction and continue this addon, or at least make it work with the latest patch? Would be greatly appreciated, it was a superb addon until it stopped working!

I used that mod until 3.0 hit because it does a very nice job of filtering and presenting all the LFM/LFG spam in all kinds of channels and gives you easy to read lists

I know that this is not the correct addon that you are looking for, but it does provide you with the ease of joining LFG chat, whenever you are not in a group allrdy.

Automatic LFG

You will ofc need to keep an eye on the chat, to see if something interesting pops up.

This addon still works like a charm in wow 3.0.2.

Hope this help to ease your pain of loosing a beloved addon.

There is an updated version of CTA for 3.02.

I maintained it for almost 2 years - just to keep it running. I was hoping someone would write something else in that time.

I guess that explains why it was no longer being updated. I sent an email to Sacha, I guess I should have sent one to you as well about my working on updating it. Could you elaborate on what you mean by something else?

I think he means just a different/alternative mod in general so he didn't have to keep it up and running.

Yeah, I was wondering that myself and that is understandable. I'm not planning to take it over hence the "fanupdate" wording was added to the title. I wanted to learn Lua and how to make WoW addons so I started looking at mods that were abandoned, but still requested by people and that were useful or helpful in some ways. I found 3 that I started working on and have completed two. The third is a bit problematic as most of the code is dependent on 3rd party libs some of which have not been updated.

My goals have been met somewhat. Now I just need to come up with an idea for an addon. Nothing too ambitious, but something that would be useful to me and maybe to others as well.
