I'm 853 so my beta key isn't here yet obviously. No idea about the ones before that.

The keys before 811 were sent within 3 days, and I see no evidence of any being sent after that.

I'm guessing Blizzard are no longer giving out developer keys.

Seems almost understandable, given the current lag on the beta realm since the Opt-ins arrived. though I doubt the extra 50 or so keys would make that much of a difference.

Blizzard could have informed the WoWi staff...

I suspected this may be the case after reading this from worldofwarcraft.com:

"We are no longer taking Worldwide Invitational ’08 or BlizzCon ’07 beta code registrations for the Wrath of the Lich King beta. Those that still have unused cards will be able to use their code to claim their pet if they have not already done so.

Future beta registrations will be opened after the week of November, 13th."

I am hoping this doesn't extend to developers through WoWI but it might. Is there anyway that WoWI admin can verify this with Blizzard?

Over two weeks on 853. Any news on this? Is Blizzard still honoring these key requests?

It's been a month now since 811-838 was sent & still no news. No key obviously and no updates from either WoWinterface or Blizzard. I understand WoWinterface has only the role of the middle man here, but you would expect Blizzard to have better manners/procedures than to just outright ignore the tickets if they've stopped handing out keys. Which is fair enough considering the expansion is roughly a month off, but they could have had the decency of letting WoWinterface know about it.

I decided to contact the WoWInterface admin through their "Contact Us" link regarding the lack of beta keys. Tom (Dolby) responded with this:

Cairenn and I are currently attending Blizzcon this weekend. We have not heard anything from our Blizzard contacts that they have stopped giving our authors beta keys, we even had a nice face to face meeting the other day and there was no mention of that. I'll confirm this with Cairenn and will post any information she has about it. Otherwise we may need to look into this further after we are back from Blizzcon (Monday). Its possible keys were not sent out in the past few weeks because the people at Blizzard incharge of this have been extremely busy planning and setting up for their event.

Hopefully we hear something back on Monday or soon after.
