Prayer/Circle of Healing range checker

I wonder, since it's possible to determine the position of raid members (in raid combat only? anyways...) if it would be possible to develop an addonthat would check how many people can be hit with your Prayer of Healing/Circle of Healing/Holy Nova/any other similar spell.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who agonizes over targeting the right person with PoH and half the time only sees 2 or 3 people get hit by it.

Edit: I just found GridStatusPriestAoe, which seems to do something similar, but is useless for those of us not using Grid.

That only shows the range from the player to the target. I need something that can determine the distance between 2 friendly targets.
