Quick Fix for chat

I would like to know where i can find a few things. I would like to find the API functions for any filter chat related functions as well as a simple peice of code that i could use to run on start up..

My plan.. Make a quick fix for the chat problem. where to edit the options you will have to edit them in the .lua file
