Files are hidden/locked

I just downloaded and tried out this IDE for the first time last night and just noticed that all of the files and projects I created are hidden. I can not find them in Windows Explorer and yes I have Show hidden files checked in my folder properties.

I tried to zip the files, but the created zip file is also hidden. The only way I can see the files is in the Open Project window within wowuides.

Help on correcting this would be greatly appreciated, loving this IDE so far.

I've never tried out wowuides, but my guess is to say the program is writing to some place that you're not looking in. Have you tried to run a search on your computer for the files created?

Where does it say it's saving to when you save your project?

Seerah - the first attempt was in the default save location wow/interface/addons. I have also copied the interface folder into wowuides folder and tried it there with the same result.

The files are visible in the Open Project window, they just have an orange lock over the icon and are not visible in windows explorer.
