System Chat Messages....

I don't know how many other people have been frustrated by losing their system messages among chat or combat spam, or any number of messages that scroll during a given online session. The fact that there is no System Message chat box option only makes it more difficult. Well there is a trick to moving system messages to whatever chat window you want, or even its own chat window:

1. Begin by creating a new chat window -- Chat Tab-->right click-->Create new window
2. After the window is created, rename the window to whatever you wish, for this example I used System Messages.
3. Right click the TitleTab for your new window and uncheck all the channels.
4. Log Out of your account and open your Wow/WTF/Account folder.
5. Select the folder of the player you want to modify the chat window for.
6. Open the Chat-Cache file in notepad.
7. Do a search for the window title you want to modify, in this example it would be System Messages.
8. Find MESSAGES under the block for your chat window you searched.
9. Add SYSTEM after the ASCII Block behind MESSAGES. Make sure there is an ASCII block both separating MESSAGES and SYSTEM and a block after SYSTEM.
10. Save the File.

You should now be able to see system messages in the window you created before you Logged out. This has to be done while the account is logged out or the files get overwritten on logout. Also keep in mind when parsing chat messages to different windows, the maximum number of chat tabs/windows is 7 total.
