WoW flushes the WTF folder

Hi I cant use any addon compilations since wow keeps flushing the WTF folder and deleting all the settings.

I dont know why and its annoying me to no end.
If someone knows why please help me.

It doesn't, are you adding the WTF folder included in the compilation, if so are u are you changing ACCOUNT NAME, Server, Character folders within the WTF folder.

Yes I followed the instructions to the letter.
When I log on to wow it empties the whole WTF folder,
thus destroying the whole UI.

Is the WTF folder itself empty? I mean, are the settings being "flushed" (deleted/replaced) or just not loaded?

Check to make sure that your WTF folder is not set as read-only and that you and WoW have the correct permissions on your computer.

What OS are you using? (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac, Linux) Have you checked to see if the WTF folder is marked Read Only? (Right click on the folder, choose Properties from the pop-up, look at the bottom)

I'm running windows xp pro.
The folder is emptied everytime I start wow.
