Help with Addon Installing plz.

Heres my problem, I tried installing an Cartographer Mod, but it doesn't work.
I read your F.A.Q. and it said that there should be a button in bottom left that says addons, in character selection. I do not have this button. Here is the directory it is in.
F:\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Cartographer-r65599\Cartographer

That's your issue then.

The directory should be
"World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\Cartographer"

its far easier if you use a program such as winzip to extract the zip files that addons are in to your \world of warcraft\interface\addons folder. Basically any addon you install should be in the root of addons.

download free winzip from www.winzip.com, its a trial version that never runs out but will make things a lot easier than if your using the built in xp or vista compressed folders option.

the simplest way .. at least for me anyway.

1.) Open your WoW addon folder
2.) Download the mod you want and save it to your desktop
3.) Goto your desktop and open the zip of the addon you just downloaded
4.) Drag the folder (which 99.9% of the time is named after the mod) over to your WoW addon folder.

Ok, whenever I open the thing it ends up with WorldofWarcraft/Interface/AddOns/Cartographer/Cartographer, im pretty sure this is right.
I have a folder called WoW - 2 which all it is is the installer.
I still do not have the Addon on the interface.

No, I'm guessing you still have folder-in-folder syndrome. There are pictures of this in the FAQ and it is mentioned in the sticky thread that Dreadlorde linked to you. Double-check please.

Ah, just realized what I was doing wrong. I misinterpreted the picture with the correct way. I thought your supposed to have the files name, then the mods name. Fixed the problem, sorry everyone for my stupidity , thanks for the help!
