These forums are for the support of the users of genesis widescreen\fullscreen.

Upcomming in future releases, an FAQ from questions in this forum will be included in the UI to make it quicker for users to find the solution to their problem without haveing to alt tab or even turn the game off. Also im working on streamlining the setup of the full compilation, including in and out of game setup.

News
Update on October 17th, Beta Release to make Ui usable while full version is under construction
Update on October 19th, Beta 2 release. This will probably be a full release version.

CHANGE LOG
Removed the "?" macro -> should be all good on base install now
Changed alot of addons to work with WOTLK
Updated art and moved the minimap to bottom panel
Fixed the "?" thing for all your items
probably a few more that i forgot

But
the text and all is small and i don't want to make it bigger or it just wouldn't fit right (i think lol)

anyways i found a bug...
The pet bar is at the bottom with like 2 or 3 other bars so pet bar need to be moved or the other bar(s)

I really like your interface. However after I install it I get continuous error messages, as well as a white background behind the chat interface. Is there a solution? I'm no programmer so I have no idea what these messages mean.

Says "Systemmessagecontroltool/systemmessagecontroltool.lua:90 bad argument #1 to 'gsub' (string expected, got nil)

Any way to fix this? Also, I put my resolution to 1280x1064 and the chat boxes turned white...how can I fix this?

All in all the UI is nicely put together, good job

If tweaked some more, it might even come close to beating mazzle :P

Also, same error but with 186 instead of 90 fyi

Okay, figured out the system message control tool error. Go to your addons and disable the viper message control addon. Phanx chat won't have that white background anymore but it still does give an error message. It appears to be showing me all my messages now and hasn't given me any more error messages besides the first.

You might as well disable cartographer for now. I don't think there's an update out yet for this new version.

Yes, there is a link at the top of the widescreen file or search "Genesis Fullscreen"

I was just wondering how I could reposition and resize the HP bars for my party members down in the lower left corner. Is it the pitbull addon?

Is there any way I can turn on my targets buff/debuff frame? I love this UI but I can't see the buffs or debuffs of who I'm targeting.. So I won't know to dispel/speallsteal etc who I'm targeting. Thanks. <3

There is an Icon under the minimap called "Addon Preferences" click it then select pitbull from the drop down menu.

I disabled them because you can see them with the HUD (MetaHud), to Enable them see notes above to get to pitbull settings.. Select "Modules" then check the "Aura" option.

I would totally help u find the versions of the addons u need if u make a list, thats no problem if it would help you get the ui done...i have been using it so long its hard to play without it lol. i love it

I appreciate it, but ill have it covered, Tomorrow (thursday Oct 16th) I am driving down to Michigan (from Ontario) then friday i will be working on updating the UI so expect it, if not in full atleast with most of the Core features working by friday night at 5pm

the only problem i am having now is that i can't remove your keybindings, the 1-+ is fine but the ones on the buttons below and the sides are interfering, also i am stuck with your macros again lol and manually removing them an reloading my ui isn't working. any help appreciated ty

Im a warrior and when I select Berserker stance the bar below the class buttons disappears and I can not put any thing in space.

Trinity UI - Adding Stance Bars

Press Esc
Open the Trinity UI menu then enable the Minimap Button
Shift - Right Click the minimap button to enable config mode
Once in config mode click the empty bar over where Bar1 should be.
Press the [ + ] button to add mor buttons
Once all 12 buttons have been added, push the Key symbol around the trinity button
with keybind mode on, mouseover each button (begginging with 1) and press the coresponding button
Once done, Press the key again to disable Keybinding mode then Shift - Right Click the Trinity button
Go back to the trinity menu and disable the minimap button

Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Anything I place in the right side buttons gets placed in this mystery bar.
