ZenTracker Party Icons help / question

I currently use ZenTracker with the Party Icon front end. I was wondering if it would be possible to tie the alpha transparency of these icons together with the alpha transparency for their corresponding unit frame?

As an example, my unit frames are set to 50% transparency when a player is more than 40 yards away. Would it be possible to set the cooldown icons to 50% transparency when the cooldown owner is more than 40 yards away? I'd also like this same indicator for if the player is dead.

This Weak Aura seems to have a similar function.

"If a player is dead or out of range, the CD on their ability will turn to gray so you know you cannot call for."

Does anyone know how to implement this into ZenTracker / if it would be possible?
