Okay. Were you using Insomniax before, and it suddenly stopped working? or?

So it works fine on one but not the other? Try this then. Go to your:

..\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<Account Name>\<Priest Name>

folder, and copy the:

chat-cache.txt

file from it, into the folder for your alt.

Sure you can. Do you know where World of Warcraft is installed on your computer?

I'll walk you through it, you can do it just fine. Just stick with me and we'll get it sorted out.

Okay, forget about that for a sec. Can you tell me where WoW is installed on your computer?

I'm willing to bet that you have a shortcut to WoW on your desktop. Right-click on it. Scroll down to "Properties". Somewhere on the box that pops up will either be "Start In" or "Target". Tell me what it says in either of those places, please.

Great. Okay, go to "My Computer" (as in, double click the icon). Then double click on the "C:\" drive icon. Then expand "Program Files". Then expand "World of Warcraft". When you expand the WoW folder, you will see a bunch of folders. One of them will be "WTF". Expand it. Inside it, find the one for your Account Name. Keep working your way in until you get to your priest one. Open it up. Right click on the "chat-cache.txt" file inside it. Then go to your alt folder. Right click on an empty space inside it, and choose paste. It'll ask you if you want to overwrite it. Say yes.

You are welcome, I'm glad it fixed it for you. Told you you could do it.

As for recommending us to your friends, word of mouth is always the best recommendation any place can get.

Thumbs up Applaud

@Cairenn

I must applaud you for your patience in helping a fellow user. It's always welcoming to see that there are a few people still willing to help others and not make put them down because of there lack of knowledge in certain areas. Everywhere you go on the net these days all people seem to do is call people names because they can hide behind thier computer screens.

Again I applaud you. Well done.
