Saw a picture of a UI kinda like it, the idea of a bar across the screen which anchors everything, but I thought I could do it better. I'm still working on this one, I have to redo: buffs, rescale xct somehow, and some other stuff. CC prease?

Very cool, I saw one like that way back in the day. I'm tempted to make my own layout now.

Why hide the chat? Sometimes people talk to you in combat.
Like the rest though. What font?

I hide chat cuz i really dont see the point of having it there in combat cuz i use vent a lot lol:S

Capity UI 1.0 rate, comment and feeback! :)



I wanted to make a simple yet functioning arena based UI. I wanted to keep the "RP" feeling by borrowing some textures from RothUI, which is amazing but the other addons doesn't suit my play style.

I made gladius and my party frames match, just for the looks. Kind of gets the commented arena matches style were they are identical to keep track of whats going on for the spectator.

Reason for the big portrait in the middle showing the class of the target is to make it easier getting the right target in the arena, and also make me able to play without classcolord bars (i hate those:P).

Comment and give some feedback. May upload if anyone wants it.

Looks very nice. Maybe add the texture to the actionbars also. What is that bar in the bottom right corner, a tank frame?

But what about:
- Raid frames? (I know you said its a Arena based UI, but if you are going to let people download it there should be some Raid frames also.)
- Nameplates?
- Buffs/debuffs?

I have no put much effort in the raid frames tbh. Still a work in progress.
the bar in the bottom right corner is actually a dmg meter. It's not supposed to show outside of raids.

Ah you are using the Roth UI nameplates. Great UI but the nameplates are to big for my taste.

I like it overall.

- Is Decursive really necessary with Grid? I don't heal much, so I'm not entirely sure.

- Maybe make your cast bar a little taller and less wide. Also, give it a border and some stronger colors. Your cast bar is a primary thing for healing, so it would make sense (to me at least) to have it pop out a bit more.

- Also, I'd spread out the Combat Text a bit. It's very tight in the middle, and I could see it causing confusion.

Other than those things, I think this is pretty darn good.

These are some upgrades to the unitframe I've been working on. The weapon buff works for both Shaman and Rogues, however the new addition was the totem icon/timer.

One thing that bugged me was the timers showing up on FX, so I disabled them. The glitch however is I need to run the filter by spellID, so that will take me a bit to compile. I plan to remove (filter) it out of the buff bar up top as well since I don't need it in two places.

Thoughts?

meh, i dont fit in here with all robot and starwars ui's + I thought I was "spechull".
