Uninstall MMOUI

My addons that I got from Curse are causing in game errors or not working at all after they updated from MMOUI (examples Chatter/Recount). I would like to uninstall MMOUI and go back to manual updates until it is out of beta. However, I cannot uninstall it from my computer. When I goto add/remove programs, there is an option to uninstall the program but it does nothing at all.

How do I remove this program from my computer?

Thanks

Just delete it from Program Files, or wherever you installed it. There is nothing "hidden" about this application.

At least on vista, there are alot of "hidden" folders, and not hidden system folders ither.

A "true" way to uninstall this program, and all of the things tied to it, would be much appreciated.

Especially since this does not work at all for me, and no one has any idea why atm.

thanks.

Minion puts data in two places.

1) The installation directory, or, where you told the installer to put it.
2) The users data directory, as outlined by Shirik (and me) in what you quoted.

To get to the user data dir on windows, just hit the windows key + R, type in "%appdata%" and hit enter. From there, select the MMOUI folder and delete it. Linux is a simple "rm -rf ~/.Minion/", and I have no idea where OSX puts their crap.

That really is the "true" way to uninstall it.

Old Version addons

The problem you have has nothing to do with beta nor Stable release the problem you got is that the Addons you mean are not uptodate on wowinterface so you have to ignore these addons and update on curse.

The Problem is that addon authors choose where to host (it's there right) and sometimes old versions get overritten due to a change in toc

the only way could be to disable some old mods which are not updated for a long time on wowinterface

greets

I was talking about the uninstall part, not the first post issue.
Just add in FAQ how to uninstall the application, if you think that it is useful like I do.
