Project: Nightfall - Complete WoW UI Reskin

Fetish Nightfall is a popular Everquest II UI Mod, which replaces virtually every window, button or interface skin in the game with it's own scheme that fans like myself adored for months. I plan to recreate Nightfall for World of Warcraft. I want it to maintain a low-memory cost, which could easily be done by following the basic, default user interface Blizzard created. However, every window will be recolored and retextured to suite the Nightfall template.


I briefly touched on some color changes on a few interface windows in the past hour and figured I should share the screenshots with you...

Here, you see the PvP rank of Sergeant, changed from the gold default into an icy aqua color. The tooltip mod used is "TipBuddy" in compact mode.

Here, you see the Titan Panel reconfigured to match the color scheme. I plan on utilizing my own bar textures in the future, but in this pic it's a stock texture with purplish-blue hue.

Above is the Sound Options window. Not much changed yet, but the texture beneath "Sound Options" matches the color scheme. This window, as well as all the menu windows will be redesigned.

Now we're getting somewhere! The quest log, recolored and as vibrant as ever!

The casting bar, nothing really done to it except the highlight line that follows the progress of the spell is a bright aqua color. The yellow background bar will soon be replaced with a dark purple, so the white font of the spell name can contrast with a darker background.

Here, we see the party window still in default, however the highlight color when choosing options is now a teal color.

A larger, more distinctive shot of the PvP rank of Sergeant in the Honor window. I plan on making that dark red Honor progress bar a dark purple gradient with a smokey texture inlay. Should look nice...

Here we have the loot window. Notice the dark blue circle inlay to the top-left. This texture will be redone to have a smoother, more sleek feel to it.

Ah, the Main Menu. Looks a little messed up because of Super Macro, but it's still functional. Users that do not have Super Macro will most likely not have this problem. However, notice the top title box and it's color.

And finally, we have the Flight Path windows. Both the Eastern Kingdom and Kalimdor's map colors have been changed. I plan on putting a nice windowblinds texture above this to give it a cyber-technology feel to kind of pull away from the outdated Fantasy feel of the current User Interface. Also, note that in the final product, I want to make every gold/yellow text in the game become an cyan blue, that way not only does it follow the Nightfall theme, but it also contrasts better with the dark purple background.

That is all I have for you right now. I'll be pulling some more shots together in the near future to display my progress. Hopefully this all comes out as nice as a Mr. T. King product!
