I get a wierd transparent box where my unit frames normally are (not the same size either...) after I am in a raid and zone somewhere, ie I'm in AV raid, leave raid leave instance, get wierd black box

thats wow party frams background. there is an option in the video or interface options to turn that off.

I've had the same problem, though not reliably, and I don't have CTRA. It happens so rarely that I usually just log out and back in to get rid of it. Reloading the UI doesn't seem to fix it on its own. Sometimes, joining or leaving a group fixes it.

Thats the default wow UI party background drop, its under the Interface Options menu by hitting ESC

I should have clarified -- in my case at least, the option to show the party background has no impact on this problem, neither causing it, nor fixing it once it's occurring.
