Macro Behaviour Question

If I name my pet "focus", will then all the [target=focus] macros go weird in arena?

I had a dog I named (in real life) "Stay". He was very well trained with the single exception of when I needed him to heel. He became very confused when I gave him the command "Heel, Stay!"

As for your question, I have no idea, but it would be interesting to find out.

WoW defaults to using the unit ID if it finds such token. I forgot the syntax, but there is a way to force WoW to look for a target named "focus".
