MiniPet Collection Tooltip Helper

Is there a mod, or could one be made, that would add information to the tooltip when you mouseover a creature, be it NPC or mob, that would tell you what mini-pets, if any, that creature drops, sells, or is otherwise the source of?

I know there are mods that list all the mini-pets and have information about their sources.

I'm mostly wondering, when I run across something like the various whelps, which mini-pet they drop, or if they don't drop one at all (and the same for oozes, and raptors, and whatever else), and the tooltip seems a great place for this.

you want GupPet. It's the best options out there. I don't think it gives you the Tooltip on the mob but it does on the pet (like when in the AH). It also has a "collectme" part that will tell you where all the pets come from as well from drops to trading cards to anniversary.

No, GupPet isn't what he wants. GupPet is what he said he already knows exists, and it doesn't do what he is asking for.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any addon that does what you are asking for. It's counter to the way most people go for mini-pets. Most of them require hundreds, if not thousands, of kills to collect, so people tend to look up the pet first, then go farm said creature.

I created a small test version to see how it looks. Is this what you wanted ?

Very nice Gupp! Is it also possible for the tooltip to be able to show whether a pet is known or unknown next to the name?

Will make an option to automatic hide the pets you already have.
