Aloft Range?

Is there an option to make nameplates show up at say... 35 yards? So I can see them when I'm sitting back shooting away?

Roartindon, the author of Aloft, has said before:

@Gaoul: Aloft uses the normal in game nameplates, but enhances them - they have a range limit set on them by Blizzard, and as far as I know, this cannot be changed (yet)

So, Aloft enhances the rendered nameplates, but the range at which the nameplates themselves appear is defined by the game's graphics engine, and, as far as I know, there is not even a console command to tweak the range.

Maybe if you get an addon that increases the range of your Combat Log it may effect Aloft too?

I know there are several addons that can tweak the Combat Log range. (But making your computer lag more and more the farther you make it.)
