I find that pages with attachments load a lot slower than pages with imageshack thumbnails, somehow.

I like your UI sacrife, looks very crisp and still uses regular fonts. May I ask what the quest tracker font/outline/size is? I use an alternative pixel font on mine but don't like it that much.

And what is that xp bar? It looks purdy (to use my gf's choice of words :>).

FontChat/XP: Myriad Pro Size 12-13. "OUTLINE" with no shadowoffset.
Unitframes, xp, clock etc: Marke Eigenbau

The xp bar is selfmade with some code borrowed from the good old lynstats

With proper UIscale and a 1680x1050 resolution the fontsize is 8 (It needs to be 7 with 1920x1080 WHY!?) and "OUTLINEMONOCHROME"

One problem I have with the font though (can be solved with most text strings with setspacing(2) but not all) is that it has a VERY narrow space between lines. Does anyone how I can change that via a font program? Preferably FontCreator.

Also, tbh. Semplice regular with the same font settings is a slightly better font, some symbols look better and size 16 (for titles, etc) does not look as huge).
Though I have the same problem here, though it is slightly better actually now that I look more closely. Could use one more pixel though :P

*EDIT* new picture with complete font overhaul. Better or worse? I included an option in my ui to keep the chat with the old font. Don't know if I read that extra fast readability as this looks quite sexy atm thoughts?

I liked the previous one more, easier to read + gives you some uniqueness as in not using pixel fonts. Been thinking about switching mine to regular fonts but that would mean an entire overhaul of the frame look and I cba with that.

Not using pixel fonts so you're more "unique" seems like a stupid reason to me.

One day people get bashed for not using pixelfonts cause pixelfonts are oh so cooowwwllll. These days your just some kind of retard for using pixelfonts like everyone else -.-*.

Just use what you like the most. Really, UI making ain't harder then that.

I use pixel fonts in my own UI cause I like them, but that's not the point. It's just good to break the overall 'mainstream' every now and then. I simply suggested it cause he used regular fonts before (which I think looked better in that UI).

Using fonts always has to go in hand with the layout. Pixel font have their usage but no one can actually read 8px fonts on a 24" monitor. This is pure nonsense when you sit like 1,5m away from your monitor. So using 16px pixel font size at a base is highly recommended. (Any multiplier of 8 will work)

Oh, small tip from myself. When designing your next UI do it in grayscale at first. You can apply any color you want after your UI looks decent in grayscale.

I love your new bottom panel, the illusion of depth rocks!

I'm using a 24" monitor at 1920x1080 or something (no idea, not at home now) and I tend to see my pixelfonts just fine. The pixelfont I use tho has it's sharpness at 10 and not at 8. You can see it like a page or 2 back.

Alrighty, I'm kind of at a loss right now. I'm pretty much completely ripping Haylie off with this UI, but oh well As long as they get credit, right?

So, I don't know where I should put the party frames, or even how I wanna shape them. Any ideas? Bottom right corner is the tooltip, fyi. Pardon the lack of awesome-sauce screenshot quality, yet again

*EDIT*

You could do what I did with your bottom panel and put the xp bar on top of the class/combat colored bar. It feels very intuitive to have it there IMO.

It's not me you should be giving credit for since all I did was mash up together stuff I ninja'd from other people I added a (hopefully) full credit list here.

Something like this?

I'd just need to find where to put the rep bar if you're not level 80 (need 2 bars then).

I wouldn't add a top panel on a bottom "heavy" UI.

To explain "heavy" - if you only have your buffs/debuffs up there, it's already "bottom heavy".

just my 2 cents...

€: I'm pretty sure I had an exp/rep bar addon floating around on my HDD that simply replaced the experience bar with the reputation bar @max level. And put it on top of it, otherwise... However a rep bar isn't that necessary to see all the time, is it?
