Node notification

Been trying to find an answer to what I would like to figure out but no luck so I need some help.

I don't like seeing the flashing node notification in the mini-map window, things too small and no matter where I move it just to far from where I am looking on the map or in game to see it.

Is there anyway I can have it flash on the map itself and not the mini-map?

This isn't possible because blizzard doesn't let addons get that information.

Gatherer does that on wow mini map, but maybe I am being confusing a bit

if you hit M you get the big map close that and you get the map in the corner. with curse the map in the corner has a mini map in it. Node notification's come in that tiny map on the one in the corner. I just want to know if it is available for the larger one (not the one you see when hitting M).
