The reasoning behind this is the pet is not an actual item that needs to be shipped or worry about local laws forbidding people from entering contests like this. Being an in game item and intellectually property of Blizzard you never actually "won" anything 
Honestly it wouldn't hurt to at least sign up before the 26th (assumed date of pet give away) and see what happens.
Unfortunately any real info about this item is VERY vague to say the least. But chances are they will email people codes to be used in game, much like the way the trading card game works. |
I tried to sign up, it told me I can't because I'm not a resident of the USA.
