Price Maker

Hey,

Something I have spoken to people about but I have no knowledge how to actually do myself. I'll use enchanting as the example as thats what I have

I'm thinking of a list of enchanting reagents with the price alongside each, and a seperate window where you drag the reagents needed, type in the number needed and it works out a price. I've tried to do a basic example below

just imagine all the [ ]'s as boxes for icons and {}'s places for typing


eg
main Price Maker window - could list all reagents for all professions, with a drop down to select which profession's reagents you want to work with.

[dust] [5s]
[essence] [2s]
[gem] [1g]


'adding' box - empty spaces to drag and drop the reagents, not sure on the max number of reagents needed in a profession.

[dust] (dragged from list) {amount needed}[total for dust]
[essence] (dragged from list) {amount needed} [total for essence]
[gem] (dragged from list) {amount needed} [total for gems]
[Total for enchant]


I think a good site for getting prices is

they seem about right from my workings based on item/usage costs.

If anyone thinks they can do this please give it a go!

Janin, your original post about this is still here, it just got moved to the correct forum, UI requests, since what you are asking about is for a user to make a mod based on existing functionality of the game, as opposed to asking Blizzard to add new functionality, which is the purpose of this forum.
