Quest tracker eats CPU

Hey all,
I'm using the latest version of Carbonite (3.3.3). When I open the Quest/Achievement tracker, my FPS takes a huge dive. Taking a look at the activity monitor on my machine, it seems that CPU usage increases dramatically when that quest tracker is open. So much so, that my FPS becomes CPU limited instead of GPU limited.

If I minimize the quest tracker, FPS returns to normal. But, as a benchmark I had the following numbers:

Inside the entrance of ICC, I was getting 70 FPS with the quest tracker closed or minimized. But, when I expanded it, my FPS dropped to around 18.

This was on a clean install of WoW with no other addons installed.
