Unexplored areas showing?

It seems very strange how the unexplored areas keep showing as I move my mouse around the map. I have "show unexplored" turned off but yet they seem to pop up all over the place as I move my mouse over the map.

Any way to fix this?

Hm. I may be mistaken, but I think what "show unexplored" does when you turn it on is to show the unexplored areas (rather than blacking them out).

Right and I have that turned off, but yet as I mouse around the map, areas still appear and then stay revealed .

It's set by setting the number of Regions to view at once. Not exactly what I was looking for, but pretty much it. Close enough.

I use the addon WorldExplorer. Works great with Carbonite.
