Concerning XMLSpy

So i am having trouble with XML, and with the recommendation from a few websites, i've downloaded Altova XMLSpy. I go to create a new xml doc and i try to preview it through the "Authentic" view, and the program is asking me to specify a .sps, which i can't find for wow. I've been unable to find any wow UI references for this program.

Also, i am getting an error through the regular Ui setup through the program as well. It reads:

"unable to show schema: (insert location of xml file currently loaded)
- !XML Schema has to begin with a <schema> element in the namespace "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"!
--Error location: Ui "

I assume the error is coming from the <Ui xmlns="http://www.blizzard.com/wow/ui/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.blizzard.com/wow/ui/ ..\FrameXML\UI.xsd"></Ui>

can someone explain to me why and how i can "fix" it so i can preview my work? I'd love to be able to view my progress and make sure i am doing what i meant to do.

While the thread was a very interesting read, and i will be sure to use "http://www.blizzard.com/wow/ui/..\..\FrameXML\UI.xsd" for my xsi:schemaLocation from here on, it still does not resolve the errors i am getting in XMLSpy. Is there anyone here who is familar with the workings of XMLSpy?
