Question Decent video website

Anyone use hulu.com and know of any other websites that are similar? Right now I'm using hulu.com and veoh.com, but it seems they have poor taste in movie selection. I've googled around a bit and found a couple that look decent, but you need their special player that comes with a ToS as long as Blizzard's that I don't care to read without having had a recommendation from someone real that uses it.

Thanks for the time

I would be careful about having to use "special players" that aren't flash, etc., like Hulu's. This is a common way of installing malicious software.

Agreed with Shirik. Almost any site requiring you to download a "special player" to view their "content" is usually a front for malware. The only legit site that I have ever encountered that asked for a special player was the old Stage6 as they used the DivX codec rather than a Flash player.

The only legit online players that I have found have been Flash based and the DivX Web Player. The rest, beware!!!!

Regarding Hulu. Be glad you can even access, those of outside of the US are out of luck due all the friggin Big Media controls. Can't waste the chance to milk every last cent out of their content...

Yeah, I've been victim of this before in an attempt to get a decent virus scanner, but it turned out that the virus scanner I downloaded was itself a virus (worm, to be exact). I've learned a great deal since then, mostly from this website and a couple others; what I don't know about, I use a great deal of caution with.

Stage6 was the reason I posted about this, as it was a legit site that required something out of the ordinary to view their content. I would use a torrent site, if they (torrent sites) would go about it in a legal manner and the content were a little more accessable (not 5 hours til time to watch).

With so much abusive content (and delivery of content) being out there, it's amazing the good ones can manage to stay afloat with all the justifiable paranoia, whether it be video, music, or even addons.

There is something people can use from over there to view US content, and vise versa for us (irritates the piss out of me that I can't view some of the vids from the Dr Who site)... was posted on LifeHacker but for the life of me I cannot find the article.
